By now we all have heard about the Haiti earthquakes. There are people in some real need and there are a lot of benefits going on. One is a friend of mine is doing a Ustream commission marathon to help raise money. His name is Tyson and he is the artist of Boxer Hockey . It’s only 22 dollar and a great cause! There is only room for 10 but he might add more. So open those wallets, get some great art and help out the people in Haiti.

Tomorrow, Friday the 22nd at 6:00p.m. Eastern Standard time, I am going to open the list for commission requests. I am only going to take 10 right now, which is not that many, but I don’t want to make any promises I can’t keep. I want to spend about an hour on each one, so I can get as many done as possible. If there is time for more when I finish the initial ten I will allow more at that time. If possible, put your name down as a reply to the journal I will make at that time or as a reply to my Twitter post I will make at the same time. First come first served.

Here are the criteria:
20 dollar minimum donation. 1 character. 8.5×11 Black & White Sketch done digitally in photoshop. Please have your reference pictures/descriptions ready after I let you know you have been accepted. I WILL LET YOU KNOW THAT YOUR REQUEST HAS BEEN ACCEPTED. If you don’t hear back from me, just assume you didn’t make the cut. I expect this to fill up very quickly, based on feedback so far. Sorry, I wish I could do this all day every day but them’s the breaks, folks. :<

I was going to set up a seperate Paypal account, but I don’t see the point, really. So all Paypal donations should be made to boxerhockey@paypal.com Paypal only please! Please don’t ask me how to set one up or anything, you should be able to figure it all out yourself.

Some people have seemed cautious like this is some sort of scam. Which is…dissapointing to say the least, but I will be screengrabbing the receipt once I make the lump donation, just incase anyone has any doubts. I will be donating to the Save The Children foundation at savethechildren.org

There are literally people dying while we sit around in our computer chairs, and while we’re not exactly saving the world with a couple hundred bucks we’re certainly making it a lot easier for a couple people.
